FUNDER AND CONSULTANT PERSPECTIVES
May 20, 2015
1:30-3:00 pm
Location: MEND 10641 San Fernando Road, Pacoima
Join fellow NNCG members and other philanthropy consultants in Southern California for a special program and networking event featuring the authors of a compelling article, titled How to Implement a Funder-Supported Advocacy Effort and the Integral Role of Policy Consultants by consultants and NNCG members Deena Margolis and Leah Ersoylu. The article appears in the current edition of The Foundation Review, the first-ever journal devoted exclusively to the role of consultants to grantmakers and co-edited by the National Network of Consultants to Grantmakers.
To maximize the impact of their funding, grantmakers are increasingly funding grantee advocacy activities. We hope you can be with us for an afternoon of lively dialogue on best practices in developing grantmaking for nonprofit advocacy.
Speakers Include:
- Lee Draper, PhD, Draper Consulting Group & NNCG Vice Chair
- Leah Ersoylu, PhD, Ersoylu Consulting
- Efrain Escobedo, California Community Foundation
- Larry Kaplan, Consultant (Moderator)
- Deena Margolis, Focali Consulting
